Julie -Mags or Magleby for her endearing name was my really good friend. She was the smartest one in math class. Many times she would help some guy with his math. We were inseparable the summer before our senior year. We used to drag state a lot and get ice cream at Fendell's on 7th east. I loved her mom and dad--they were so good to me. I remember eating pineapple for the first time at her house. Julie and I had good long talks--I wish I could go back and help and comfort her and give her advice--I know a lot more then I knew then.  Julie was a bridesmaid at my wedding. After I got married we drifted apart especially when I moved to California. I am sorry for that now.

Julie was such a sweet young lady who will be sorely missed.  She was a joy to know.  So hard to say goodbye to a fellow Cub.
